AHTECH has inherited the aspiration of contributing to the society of the ancient Huizhou merchants in “helping others for a right cause with generous donation” since its inception. The company attaches great importance to public and charity activities. When facing natural disasters, AHTECH, both the company and its staff, donated voluntarily. In the past 31 years, the company donated 28 times to disaster-stricken areas both in the names of the company and the staff. It sent people and material to rescue victims in disaster areas, doing the best the company can for the victims and showing the care and warmth of the society.
Supporting development of education – children are the hope of the country, only better education can improve their life in the future. When celebrating the 25th anniversary of the company in 2010, AHTECH donated 250,000 yuan for setting up an “Antian Hope Primary School”. Moreover, the company has constantly supported the “Spring Bud Program” sponsored by Anhui Children and Teenagers’ Fund. The money donated has helped many dropouts return to school, and the materials donated, including study articles and daily-use articles, have improved the growth environment for the children in need.
Assisting poverty relief with technology – in response to the call of Anhui Provincial People’s Government, AHTECH assumes poverty alleviation of Huoqiu County as designated by the government. The company has made good use of the platforms of its mother company, Anhui International Trade Group (holding) Co., Ltd, and established close contacts with local SMEs in Huoqiu. With the advantages of its trade personnel and financial resources, the company coordinated export of specialty products of Huoqiu. In this way, AHTECH has facilitated further development of the county, improved the poverty relief work and brought benefit to people in the county.
